Follow up every open lead on the channel they answered on
Slide, by Synquic, follows up open leads on WhatsApp and email: WhatsApp campaigns send approved templates to tagged or segmented leads on a schedule with delayed follow-up steps, email sequences send a first email and up to 5 follow-ups that stop when the lead replies, and Shopify stores can follow up abandoned checkouts. In-chat WhatsApp payment requests work for Indian businesses only. Instagram cannot carry follow-up, because Slide sends nothing there more than 24 hours after the person's last message.
Sales conversion by channel and market
- WhatsApp in IndiaHow Indian sales teams use Slide to follow up WhatsApp quotes on time, hand negotiation to a person, and collect an advance with an in-chat payment request.
- WhatsApp in SingaporeHow Singapore businesses use Slide to follow up WhatsApp leads, record consent in the chat for the Do Not Call rules, and hand interested buyers to sales.
- WhatsApp in CanadaHow Canadian businesses use Slide to follow up WhatsApp leads within CASL implied-consent limits, ask for express consent in time, and hand buyers to sales.
What these claims rest on
- WhatsApp campaigns send approved templates to tags or segments, with scheduling and delayed follow-ups
Scheduled broadcasts to tags or segments, delayed follow-up steps, and an email fallback. Unsubscribed and blocked contacts are skipped. SMS fallback works for Indian numbers only.
- Email sequences send a first email and up to 5 follow-ups that stop when the person replies
Follow-ups 1 hour to 60 days apart, threaded, stopped on reply (needs a connected mailbox). Each email carries an unsubscribe line by default, and unsubscribed, suppressed or bounced addresses are skipped. Sequences are single-path.
- Email campaigns support segments, A/B tests, open and click tracking, one-click unsubscribe and bounce suppression
A/B tests on subject, content, sender name or preview text; one-click unsubscribe; hard bounces and complaints are suppressed. Soft bounces are not suppressed and there is no list cleaning.
- Newport moves Instagram comment interest into DMs and then WhatsApp
Published setup: 18 automations live; comment and story-reply triggers on Instagram; a route from Instagram into WhatsApp for longer conversations.
- Reporting covers WhatsApp delivery and reads, email opens and clicks, automation runs, and Shopify revenue
WhatsApp reports (sent, delivered, read, failed, cost), email campaign and sequence statistics, Instagram insights, per-run automation logs and Shopify revenue per email campaign. There is no cross-channel attribution report, and WhatsApp revenue is not shown in the dashboard.
How the cost is made up
The Slide plan decides which features you have; plans and current prices are on the pricing page, and paid plans start with a 14-day trial. Workspaces created with an Indian number are billed in rupees, and all others in US dollars.
Every WhatsApp follow-up sent after the 24-hour window is a template, charged per delivered message by Meta at the rate for its category and the lead's country, and drawn from your wallet; a template approved as marketing is charged at the marketing rate for that country. Since 1 October 2026 replies inside an open window are charged too, after the first 1,000 service messages each month per number.
Email follow-ups draw on the plan's email credits, and a sequence pauses rather than failing if the credits run out.
When this fits, and what it does not do
A good fit when
- Leads who gave you a WhatsApp number or an email address and agreed to hear from you.
- A sales cycle with a predictable follow-up rhythm, such as a reminder a few days after a quote.
- Indian businesses that want to request payment inside WhatsApp.
Needs a person when
- Negotiation, discounts and anything that commits the business.
- A lead who replies with a question the follow-up did not expect.
- An Instagram lead who needs an answer within 24 hours of their last message.
Not established by this page
- Any change in conversion rate or revenue: Slide publishes no measured outcomes for follow-up.
- Whether a given follow-up will be approved as a utility or a marketing template: Meta decides when it reviews it.
- Where customer data is hosted. Ask the Slide team before you sign.
Direct answers
How does Slide follow up leads automatically?
On WhatsApp, campaigns send approved templates to a tag or segment on a schedule, with delayed follow-up steps and an email fallback. By email, a sequence sends a first email and up to 5 threaded follow-ups, 1 hour to 60 days apart, and stops when the lead replies, as long as the mailbox is connected. Unsubscribed and blocked contacts are skipped, and when a lead answers, your team picks the conversation up in the shared inbox.
Source:Campaigns guideCampaigns guideGetting started guideCan we follow up leads who came from Instagram?
Only within 24 hours of the person's last message. Slide sends no outbound Instagram DMs and nothing after that window, and Meta's 7-day human-agent tag cannot carry promotional content, so Instagram is not a follow-up channel. Ask interested people for an email address, or a WhatsApp number and permission, while the conversation is open, and follow up there.
Source:Meta: Instagram Messaging API (opens in a new tab)Meta: Instagram Platform overview (opens in a new tab)Can customers pay inside WhatsApp?
In India only. In-chat payment requests depend on Indian payment methods configured with Meta, so they apply to Indian businesses. Elsewhere, share a link to your own checkout or payment page in the conversation, and for Shopify stores, use the abandoned checkout event to follow up shoppers who left before paying.
Source:Shopify guideCan we A/B test follow-up messages?
For email campaigns, yes: test the subject, the content, the sender name or the preview text, with opens and clicks tracked for each version. Slide shows the results; deciding when a difference is large enough to act on is up to you. Email sequences are a single path, so each lead in a sequence receives the same follow-ups.
Source:Campaigns guideCampaigns guideHow do we know which follow-ups lead to sales?
Email campaigns report opens, clicks and, for a connected Shopify store, revenue per campaign. WhatsApp reports show sent, delivered, read, failed and cost, but not revenue, and there is no cross-channel attribution report. Tag leads when they buy and compare those tags with the campaigns they received.
Source:Campaigns guideCampaigns guideIs there a page for sales follow-up in our market?
There are WhatsApp sales follow-up pages for India, Singapore, where the Do Not Call rules cover marketing sent to Singapore numbers over WhatsApp, and Canada, where CASL requires consent, sender identification and an unsubscribe in commercial messages. Rules for other markets are summarised under locations.

Slide is a reasonable fit if your open leads gave you a WhatsApp number or email address with permission, and you want timed follow-ups that stop when the lead replies, with your team taking over in the shared inbox: WhatsApp campaigns, email sequences and handoff are built. It is a weaker fit if your leads exist only on Instagram, if you need in-chat payments outside India, or if you need revenue attributed to WhatsApp messages.
