Meta Ads, live chat and more in the Slide API
- New
Meta Ads in the API
Read your ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, results and leads from your own systems, and create campaigns that start paused. Changing a status or a budget needs its own key permission, so a reporting key can never touch live spend.
- New
Update and remove contacts through the API
Update a contact by its id, delete one, and read your tags and segments.
- New
Live chat and workspace details in the API
Read website chat conversations and their messages, and your workspace name and the features it has switched on.
- New
Buttons and lists in website chat
Your AI assistant on website chat can now ask with up to 3 buttons or a list of up to 10 options, the same way it does on WhatsApp. Visitors tap an option to answer, and bold or italic words show as formatting instead of symbols. The Inbox shows which options were offered.
Fixes and small changes in 1.30
- ImprovedA store audit report that follows the audit specification: The store audit has a new Report tab, and the downloadable report is now a portrait A4 document, both in the same order and under the same headings as the audit specification: every area, every check under its own title, what it shows, and what your audit found. Where Slide cannot measure something yet, the report says so plainly.
- ImprovedStore audit uses the audit titles: The 15 areas of your store audit, and the checks inside them, now carry the titles of the audit specification word for word, for example "Performance & Site Speed" and "Technical SEO", and the action list is called Priority Action Plan. An audit run before today keeps its old titles until you run it again.
- ImprovedClearer notes on the automation list: An automation that was paused because Instagram lost its connection now says "Instagram needs to be reconnected", and an automation that starts from a trigger that no longer fires says so and points to Followers increased instead.
- ImprovedChoose who gets cart and product reminders: Storefront settings has a new "Who gets reminders" card with one switch for cart reminders and one for product page reminders. Each switch starts off and shows its real state, so nothing changes until you turn it on. When a switch is on, only people who agreed get that reminder, for example by ticking the WhatsApp consent box you can now add to a pop-up.
- ImprovedReplies and Google Ads in the API: Your own systems can now answer a live chat under the name of an API key and hand it back to your AI agent, and read your Google Ads campaigns, results and lead forms.
- ImprovedJourney reports show what was really sent: The Journey Reports tab on Revenue analytics now counts the messages each journey actually sent, how many were delivered and read, how many could not be delivered and why, and how many runs were skipped with the reason in plain words, such as no phone number to message. It covers every journey that sends a message, on any trigger, and you can look back 7, 30 or 90 days. Orders and revenue count purchases placed within 7 days after a message from the journey, however the shopper completed the purchase. Clicks are not tracked yet, and the page says so. The reminders count on the Abandoned carts report and on Revenue analytics now counts messages that really went out.
